May 13th, 2010DISNEY WORLD?
_____ asked:
okay so i have to write a personal experience speech and im writing about my frist trip to Disney World. this is my intro- can you please edit it for me and tell me about your experiences at disney world! thank you!
INTRO:
“I was attacked by a monster” is what I would say as a 5 year-old, but in reality it was just Mickey Mouse. My first family trip, and yet the most memorable, was to “the Happiest Place on Earth,” also known as Disney World. Although I wasn’t a huge fan of puppets twice the size of me, visiting the castle and enjoying the rides truly made my experience a magical one.
im 17 but i dont remember much, did they have mickey mouse, goofy and all the other puppets in 1996?

first of all they are called characters not puppets.
and yes they were all there and have been since disney world opened in 1971.
are you serious that you want us to tell you our experiences and your just gonna take them and put them in your paper?
why did you pick this topic if you can’t even remeber anything?
you should ask your parents about the trip and find some old pictures to remind you what happened.
i can tell you some great memories but if they aren’t your own i don’t know how you can explain anything if your teacher asks about a certain memory.
i remember:
the first time i went on space mountain and my sister said she would sit next to me know full well that that would get me to go on it even though she also knew that the seats are one behind another so 2 people can’t sit side by side.
then after we go to the front of the line and i saw that you had to sit by yourself and then i didn’t want to go on but my sister then said don’t worry if you fly out i’ll sit behind you so i can catch you. yeah that actually made me feel better. lol.
well i was 5 what do you expect?
the first time i went on tower of terror. the had the bars that you hold onto where as now they have seatbelts. i sat between the wall and my dad and held on for dear life. one arm wrapped around my dads arem a nd the other ***** aroudn the bar. that was when i was in 1994 the year tower of terror opened. i was 8.
watching the carousel of progress. its my fave thing at magic kingdom. the way it goes from 1900 to 1920 to 1940 and then present day is just soo awesome. and the song “there’s a great big beautiful tomorrow” is super catchy.
going on its a small world and loving the room that is like they are in a theme park. and there is a rollercoaster, a ferris wheel, a balloon ride. its soo cute. and that song will drive you nuts in a good way.
or when i’d go on the haunted mansion and love the part where you see the dining/ball room and you’d see the ghosts fade in and out as they were waltzing. and at the end when you look in the mirrors and there is a hitch hiking ghost in your doom buggy.
or in 1996 when it was disney world’s 25th birhtday and the castle was decorated like it was a huge cake! that was awesome. do you remember that?
um there are many other memories i could talk about but i think thats enough for now.

It’s a cute intro. They are called characters, not puppets. But yes, all the main characters have been there since it opened. You might like to visit one of my favorite websites -
It has lots of picture and info that will help you organize your thoughts.

my experiences were all great at WDW!! I love it sooo much! I remember the first time i went on Space mountain I was at the front & I was sooo scared but it was good! Also I remember going on Barm Stormer the little kids ride a lot! it was my favourite ride back then! And then there’s Thunder Mountain… I still love that ride!
