I am thinking of relocating from Lancaster, Pa to South Carolina. I would like to know what is one of the best and affordable areas to live in. I am used to living in the country, so I would not be comfortable in a city environment. I know nothing of South Carolina other than being there briefly about 30 years ago. I lived in North Carolina and Texas, but again that was 25-30 years ago. I loved the south then which is why I would like to move there. I guess my main question is, where is a nice place to live in south carolina, affordable, employment, rent, cost of living? Thank you.
